2010 Professional Development Institute
This area contains a listing of the courses , times and dates for the Professional Development Institute. Each participant is to select and register for 1 session of choice per period, per day, to complete registration for the institute.
Example: on 8/2/2010 at 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., there are sessions I, II and III. View each session description and select one of your interest and register for it. Proceed to the next time slot which is 10:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and do the same until you have completed a session registration for each time slot for that day you will attend.
Note:
- For your convenience, key sessions are repeated
- There are several sessions specifically for new teachers
- Use the Schedule-At-A-Glance to help you plan your days
- Print it out, plan, then view course descriptions and register
- The classes are grouped into two categories
- Please call our attention to errors or other discrepancies.
Location: Park Ridge Elementary School
When: August 2-6
Time: 8:30-4:00 (Concurrent Sessions)
Qualifications of Participants:

Must be a classroom (i.e. paraprofessional, teacher, specialist) employee of the City of Baker School District

Must attend the entire session (doors will be closed when session begins)

Must sign in, complete evaluation form and time sheet
- Stipend - Participants will be paid $25 per hour for attending.
- Attendance - Though is it not mandatory that you attend each day, it is important to remember that stipends will only be paid for the day(s) and/or time(s) that you do attend.
- CLU's - Continuing Education Units will be awarded according to applicable guidelines
