Baker's three elementary principals and director of elementary education visited neighbors and local businesses in the Baker Community. They welcomed parents to the new school year with their theme, "Building a Foundation of Success”. Linda Smith, parent of Andrea Smith who attends Baker Heights Elementary said, "I don't see too many schools do this, concerned about the parents and the kids. This is good.”
