Baton Rouge Area Council of Teachers of Mathematics (BRACTM) Mini Conference
Our mini-conference will be on Saturday, January
28th at the LSU Lab School and is going to be the biggest and best we've had so
far! We are partnering with the local reading councils, and have a variety of
sessions ranging from math and literacy to social studies and technology (with
more to come). Please click on "VIEW DOCUMENT" to fill out the attached registration form and reserve
your spot!
Note that our main speaker is Annette Breaux, a wonderful motivational speaker,
and our second speaker is Eric Milou from Rowan University who will be speaking
about math common core standards. We will have various exhibits for you
to buy great books and classroom supplies, and we will also have the food
trucks that have been around the city there for lunch time. You will also
earn CLUs for coming to this conference. Please help to spread the word
to your colleagues. Forward this onto you student teachers....this is a
fabulous opportunity for them to join three professional organizations at
once!!
