The City of Baton Rouge is pleased to announce the 2011 Youth Expo on Saturday, May 14, 2011. The last Expo in 2008 was a huge success. From the feedback of the participants, parents, school officials, business partners, volunteers, and more, the need was felt to bring the community another event that provides job opportunities, educational resources, and social resources for youth.

The Youth Expo will be held at the Baton Rouge River Center Exhibition Hall from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. As per their last event, they are expecting a large number of youth ranging in ages from 17 - 21. Participating youth will have the opportunity to discuss important matters that affect them such as employment opportunities, healthcare, education, after school activities, community safety, etc.

All Baker Youth Ages 17 - 21 are cordially invited to attend!
