ADMISSIONS AND GATE RECEIPTS

 

 

The City of Baker School Board shall establish and maintain a uniform procedure for the handling and accounting of admission fees charged for all school events, such as athletics or entertainment, whether such is assessed in advance or upon entering.  All such fees shall be controlled through the use of pre-numbered tickets.  The price of tickets shall be determined and set by each school.

 

The following uniform procedures shall be used for selling and collecting tickets to athletic and all other school functions when admission is charged:

 

  1. Numbered tickets shall be used and a record kept of the tickets sold.  The total amount collected for the sale of tickets shall agree with the money value of the number of tickets sold.
     

  2. Signs indicating admission and tax charges shall be posted at entrance doors in order to be visible to all ticket purchasers.
     

  3. Adult and student tickets shall be of different color, with specific printed identification indicating its class and admission charge.
     

  4. Person(s) selling tickets may not also collect admission tickets; the collector(s) of tickets shall submit the ticket stubs for auditing purposes.
