SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS

The City of Baker School Board recognizes that volunteers can make many valuable contributions to the school.  Therefore, the Board endorses a Volunteer Program in the district, in cooperation with the schools, subject to suitable regulations and safeguards promulgated by the Superintendent or staff, as found in the City of Baker School System Volunteer Handbook.

Appropriate effort shall be made to incorporate the use of school volunteers into the community schools program as well as any or all other programs or activities of the school district.
