Dear Parents and Stakeholders,
We find ourselves in a global pandemic with significant stress on our community. The number of parents opting for virtual learning is growing and given the increased cases of COVID -19, the City of Baker School System will be opening the school year in a complete virtual educational environment. As the administrator of the City of Baker School System, safety and the well-being of our students will always come first.
Your children's respective schools will contact each of you in the coming days for orientation, the issuing of devices, and operational guidance for virtual educational engagement. The academic year for all students will begin on August 10th. You can expect for us to remain in this virtual educational mode until Labor Day.
Please know that all other relevant information concerning our Strong Start Re-Opening will be posted on the home page of the City of Baker School System website.
