The City of Baker School Board recognized volunteers in the Foster Grandparents Program at Bakerfield/Baker Heights Elementary for their work. Ms. Anna Cochran, Ms. Ada Johnson, Ms. Gertrude Tolliver, and Ms. Margie Wallace all serve as a calming and reassuring presence on the campus as they assist students with their classroom assignments or provide emotional support.
