Jump Start Summers Program Grant Approved

Baker High School’s Career and Technical Education Department submitted an application to implement a Jump Start Summers program. The BESE board approved the grant amount of $35,788. The program will target rising juniors, seniors and post- graduation young adults. The post-graduate students will attend Baton Rouge Dental Academy to become Dental Assistants. The rising juniors and seniors will enroll in the Entrepreneurship course on campus. All student participants will receive a stipend between $600-$640.
