Mr. John Arrasmith networks with Dr. Timothy Shanahan today (6/26/2019). Dr. Shanahan held the EdTalk Educational Equity and the Importance of Complex Text. He is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Previously, he was director of reading in the Chicago Public Schools and a first-grade tracher. Dr. Shanahan is an author and editor of more than 200 publications on literacy education.
