Renovation/Construction of Baker High School Update

August 15, 2019
Over the last 12 months, our staff and bond counsel have been working diligently to meet the requirements set forth in the USDA Rural Development Loan.  As of this date, all of the requirements of the application have been met, and we have been waiting for comments from Washington, D.C. relative to loan approval.

On August 14, 2019, we received concurrence from the National USDA Office in Washington of the School Board’s financing for the Baker High School Project.  Not withstanding some conditions relative to the loan documents, the USDA State Office will be delivering a formal letter to obligate funding very soon.
