An amazingly musical weekend for our Baker High Symphonic Band Students! On Thursday, the Symphonic Band participated in the Annual LSU Pre-Fest and received comments and instruction from Director of Bands, Dr. Damon Talley, and the entire band staff at LSU.
Thursday evening, four of our talented students were selected to participate in the McNeese State University Regional Honor Band in Lake Charles, LA. The students rehearsed and experienced life as a MSU student-musician, participating in auditions, masterclasses and concerts provided by the university! This was a challenging yet rewarding experience for Henry Bingham, William Earvin, Jr., Sydnee Jackson, and Amber Smith! This has truly been a weekend full of music for all of our students as we head into "Music in Our Schools Month" this March! Proud of our Buffaloes!
