Baker Middle JAG Volunteer Experience

March 14, 2017 - Today, seventeen JAG AIM-HIGH students volunteered at The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Mr. Mark gave the students a tour of the grand facility and shared intriguing stories on how the Great Flood of 2016 destroyed 100 % of there goods. Without volunteers and donations, this organization would not be able to provide food to the hungry in the community. Today the students were tasked with sorting food along side of college students who traveled from as far as Ohio, and are on spring break. Our students enjoyed the experience, while demonstrating active participation in the community.
