Two beginning band students at Baker Middle School, Clarence Williams and Kentrell Prophet, were selected to participate with 170 other musicians from the Greater Baton Rouge Area in the Beginning Honor Band sponsored by Zeagler Music. The band's concert was held at Sherwood Academic Magnet School.
