Earvin Selected for National Music Education Committee

Music for All is a national company that aims to create avenues for all students to obtain great music educational experiences in the school setting.  Through extensive enrichment programs for band, orchestra, and choral students, to effective training opportunities for directors across the country, Music for All is the leading advocate for music and arts education.

In an effort to provide the best experience for all students, as well as address some of the company's core values, Music for All seeks to expand their resources to build life-long learners in some of the more diverse school districts in selected Regions.  This new collaborative effort, facilitated by the Urban Education Advisory Committee, will provide guidance to areas that are developing their music programs while enhancing musical instruction and performance-based achievement.

Music for All has identified five distinguished music educators/industry leaders that have been recognized as competent music educators, innovative thinkers, and facilitators of comprehensive programs that resemble the demographic makeup of the institutions in the target areas.  The team is comprised of the following music education consultants:

Mr. William Earvin, Baker HS, Director of Bands – Baker, LA         

Mr. James Seda, Southwest Dekalb HS, Director of Bands – Decatur, GA

Mr. Ayatey Shabazz, Devmusic Publishing Company, LLC, Founder/President & CEO – Biloxi, MS
