On Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. Baker’s first Kids’ Orchestra Neighborhood Concert kicked off with a welcome from the Executive Director, Jody Hanet, followed by the student performances. After the programmed performances the students played two encores and revealed more of their multi-talents. In each performance the students displayed a solid command of their instruments as well as impressive group and individual discipline. The concert was well-attended by family, friends in addition to school, district and Kids’Orchestra staffs.
Kids’ Orchestra Student Performers are: Aubrey Aaron, Dele Bakare, Peighton Beals, Keithen Gibson, Andre Goins, Jimel Holmes, Antonio Jackson, Landon Johnson, Bryce Maten, M`Kyrah Provost, D`Angelo Scott, Joielle Smith and Emani Snowden.
We look forward to many more concerts as the students transition to other instruments while growing in their theoretical knowledge, technical skills and comprehensive musicianship.
