Destiny Jones attends JAG meeting at the LA Department of Education
2/28/2019: Destiny Jones (Baker Middle School Student and JAG-LA Representative) attended a planning meeting at the Louisiana Department of Education with JAG-LA State Officers from across the state. She was accompanied by Ms. Keyo Johnson (JAG Specialist). During the meeting, the students worked in groups to plan activities for 2019 JAG-LA Student Leadership Conference. In addition, a tour was given of the Louisiana State Capital, where they learned fun facts about the state’s history and met with Governor John Bel Edwards. Today’s experience was memorable for all!
