What is Redistricting?

Redistricting is the process of redrawing the boundaries of districts that elect representatives who serve specific geographical areas and is required every 10 years following the Census.

Redistricting the school board director districts does NOT affect neighborhood school boundaries in any way. Students will continue to attend the same schools as before.

Why Redistrict?

As states and communities grow and change, peoples' representation in government begins to get out of balance. Redistricting brings everything back into balance to make sure that every member of the community is represented fairly.

How to Get Involved.

We welcome the input from the community to the redistricting process.
