Bakerfield & Baker Heights Celebrate Black History 2019
February 28, 2019 @ 9:00 AM - Kindergartners - 2nd Graders presented a great program. They sang a wide variety of music representative of African-American styles (ranging from a rap to a spiritual). Important figures were highlighted. At 1:00 PM the 3rd Graders - 5th Graders presented the program. The guest speaker, Mr. Hyma Moore, Jr., challenged all students to "be kind, work hard and be great at something."
