Baker Alternative Learning Center Holds Commencement

Friday, May 18, 2018, led by Principal Hamilton Brock, the Baker Alternative Learning Center held its commencement. The program featured many moments of inspiration and encouragement for the graduates as well their family and friends. The guest speaker was Dr. Press Robinson, Sr., who delivered a powerful message. In short, he reminded the graduates that this event was indeed the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Dr. Robinson challenged graduates to move forward according to their varied gifts, talents and interests. "There will be obstacles", he said, "but rise above the obstacles; continue to move forward to achieve more successes in life, not for others but for yourselves."
