Message from Principal Morgan
Welcome to Baker High School, where every student learns to "Be a Buff." Founded in 1900, Baker High School has become a cornerstone of the Baker community, built upon a tradition of academic excellence, strong character, and a wealth of co-curricular offerings. It is a privilege to serve as principal of a school with a dynamic faculty and a positive learning environment. The administration and faculty have remained dedicated to providing students with the traditional, nurturing atmosphere that a small school setting provides while also providing extensive academic and elective course offerings that can only occur in larger schools, capitalizing on the best of both experiences. Our teachers pride themselves on fostering the development of quality character among students and in preparing them to achieve their maximum potential in post-secondary pursuits.
An exceptionally qualified staff awaits students each day, ready to provide challenging and engaging educational experiences that will not only prepare students for their futures but will also foster in them a lifelong love of learning. In addition to rigorous course offerings, including Honors, Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment Courses, Baker High School provides excellent support services and a wide selection of courses for students of all abilities. In an effort to help students develop their personal interests and talents, we offer a plethora of clubs and activities, and we participate competitively in LHSAA sanctioned sports.
Whatever successes we have, great or small, it takes the commitment and dedication of not only the Baker High School faculty, but you, our parents and community stakeholders. I look forward to working with each and every one of you as we move Baker High School forward.
