Proceed With Caution -Young Scientists At Work

Some wonderful things are happening in Ms. Wilson's science classes. Aligning to the standards, PS-M-A7, PS-M-A8, the students observed a demonstration of a chemical reaction with baking soda and vinegar. Students made a hypothesis, recorded data, and conducted an analysis following the demonstration.

The 7th grade students finished up the unit on Cellular Transport aligning to the standard of LS-M-A. Students investigated the movement of water into and out of a Gummy Bear. The diffusion of water molecules through a selectively permeable membrane is known as OSMOSIS. In this case, the gummy bear is represented as the electively permeable membrane.
