In compliance with LA 39:1307, the City of Baker School Board will hold a public hearing prior to the consideration of adoption of the 2024 - 2025 General Fund and Special Revenue Funds Budgets. The public hearing will be held in conjunction with the regular scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the City of Baker School Board Office 14750 Plank Road, Baker, Louisiana 70714.

The budget will be available for public inspection beginning Monday, July 22, 2024 through Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the City of Baker School Board Office.

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, individuals needing special accommodations during this meeting should notify Deborah Dedeaux, Administrative Assistant, at least three working days prior to the meeting at (225) 778-2362

The eagerly anticipated grand opening of the new Baker High School is just around the corner! This momentous occasion marks the culmination of countless hours of hard work and dedication, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the City of Baker School System.

In celebration of this milestone, we kindly request all Baker High School graduates, both past and present, to share any pictures they may have from their time at the school. Baker High School is on schedule for a grand reveal this summer. We are thankful for every person that has been a part of this process as we prepare to open, for the first time since 2016, the newly redesigned and renovated Baker High School.
