The eagerly anticipated grand opening of the new Baker High School is just around the corner! This momentous occasion marks the culmination of countless hours of hard work and dedication, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the City of Baker School System.

In celebration of this milestone, we kindly request all Baker High School graduates, both past and present, to share any pictures they may have from their time at the school. Summer Learning Opportunities - CoBSS STEAMSational Academy

Our Summer STEAMSational Learning Academy is now accepting applications for rising Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Remember this is a FREE program that provides meals, transportation, instruction, and fieldtrips to all registered City of Baker School System students.

Baker High School is on schedule for a grand reveal this summer. We are thankful for every person that has been a part of this process as we prepare to open, for the first time since 2016, the newly redesigned and renovated Baker High School.

Congratulations to the winners of our LEAP 2025 Signage Competition

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the distinguished winners of the LEAP 2025 Signage Competition: Melanie Hardesty, residing at 806 Balm Street, and Tamika Williams, whose address is 803 Cypress Drive.

Furthermore, we express our sincere gratitude to all participants who dedicated their time and effort to this endeavor. A special acknowledgment goes to our esteemed Board Members, Joyce Burges and Monique Butler, for their unwavering commitment to our students’ growth and success.

CoBSS Yard Signage Competition

In an effort to encourage our students during state testing, we are organizing a yard signage competition for all the residents of Baker. The theme for the sign is “Do Your Best On The Test!” and you can let your creativity flow to make the sign. Let’s show our support for our students! To enter the contest, please fill out the Google form attached in the link. All signs must be displayed by 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24th. The winners will be announced on April 25th via the bakerschools.org website.
