Stay Informed: Free Real-Time Bus Updates with TextCaster
The City of Baker & Helix Community Schools, in partnership with DS Bus South, is proud to utilize TextCaster鈥攁 free text messaging service designed to keep our entire school community instantly updated on school bus statuses, service delays, and important transit notices.
We highly encourage both parents and school staff to enroll in this service. For staff, subscribing to the buses that serve your school ensures you receive the exact same real-time notifications as parents, making it easier to assist with transportation inquiries. For parents, it brings peace of mind and timely information straight to your phone, reducing the need for stressful morning phone calls.
How to Enroll:
Step 1: Visit the official TextCaster Enrollment Page.
Step 2: Input your preferred text/contact information.
Step 3: Scroll down to select Helix Community Schools and check the boxes for the specific bus route(s) you need to track.
Already Enrolled? You do not need to register again. However, if your child changes buses or you get a new phone number, simply return to the enrollment page and click "Update Message Preferences" to keep your account current.
