Celebrating a True Buffalo: Jill Taylor Named 2026 BHS Homecoming Grand Marshal!

A lifelong member of the Baker community, Jill’s journey began as a student attending Baker Heights, Baker Junior High, and ultimately graduating from Baker High School in 1984. Her professional dedication to our district spans over two decades. After starting at Baker Heights Elementary in 1999, she found her true home at Baker High School in February 2004.

Though she officially retired in June 2024, Jill's unwavering commitment led her to remain in her position to support the transition as we partnered with Helix Community Schools. "I thank God every day that He led me and placed me at Baker High," Jill shares, expressing deep gratitude for her family, including her children Aaron and Lauren, who practically grew up at BHS.

As a proud mother of two and grandmother of five, Jill embodies the family spirit of our schools and says she plans to stay for as long as BHS will have her. Please join us in celebrating her incredible legacy this Homecoming season! Geaux Buffs!
