In a common practice utilized by band and choir directors nationwide, the Baker Middle Concert Band was rehearsed and coached by a guest, none other than the former Baker High and current SU Assistant Band Director, Mr. Kedric Taylor. All this in preparation for BMS Band's performance at the upcoming LMEA District IV concert band festival. In a recent March 3rd performance at the Southern University Phi Mu Alpha Concert Band Festival, the BMS band received an excellent or II rating. (Click on the photos to enlarge them)
