Mathematics

The CoBSS mathematics curriculum follows the Louisiana Student Standards, which define what students should understand and be able to do. The standards concentrate on a clear set of math skills and concepts that encourage students to solve real-world problems.

 

The knowledge and skills students need to be prepared for mathematics in college, careers, and life are woven throughout the mathematics standards. Teachers connect the mathematics practices to the mathematical content in daily instruction.
